Heirloom portraits are a timeless classic that preserve the tininess of your baby or young child. These pieces of art become family legacy handed down for generations - filling the walls of your home with the warmth of "remember when".

Photographed in my in-home, natural light studio in East Cobb, the session feels familiar like a playdate.

Fill out the form below to request your time slot and date on an heirloom portraiture weekend. These are on a first come first serve basis, so feel free to select a few options that might fit your schedule, and let me know your top choice in the message section.

Book


I will email you back with your date/time confirmation and contract. A non-refundable $50 deposit will be required to secure your spot(s).

Get Ready


Pick the outfit you'd like to have your child photographed in - if you have a family heirloom outfit, that's great! I can also provide you with links to some classic looks for heirloom photos.


I will also send a small questionnaire to you about your kiddo's interests and favorite things. That way, I can make the session fun and tailored to them!



04.


Heirloom Day


The fun part! You are welcome to bring their photo outfit along and change them into it when you arrive - I have two littles so I know what can happen to an outfit in a short car ride haha


We will take their photos and have all the fun!

FAQ

How long is each session and how many pictures will we receive?

Each heirloom session is 20 minutes long and includes 5 high resolution digital photographs with unlimited downloads. Additional images, prints, frames, canvas, etc. will be available for purchase in our online shop.

What’s the best time to schedule an heirloom session?

Age wise, once baby is sitting up on their own is best! 6 - 9 months is an ideal age for their first heirloom photograph. From there, it can be really beautiful to update their heirlooms once or twice a year to document them as they grow.

For time of day, you know your little one best, so I always suggest when they are generally their most happy and playful selves! I try to avoid nap times so kiddos aren't overtired, and I always suggest making sure they get a snack before so no one is hangry for their session time.

Where is your studio?

My in-home, natural light studio is in Marietta, GA (East Cobb), about 10 minutes from downtown Roswell.

How should we dress our kids for our heirloom session?

If you have a family heirloom outfit, that can be a very special piece for photographs. I am also happy to send you links to some classic heirloom photo looks.

Check with friends as well! Some families hand down classic heirloom looks to friends and family.

What does an heirloom session cost?

Each heirloom session is $275 per child. This includes 5 digital images for download and access to my print shop for professional printing of your heirloom photos.
